Clients often arrive with a clear idea of 'what' they want to build - a hotel, residential, or mixed-use development. We begin with the 'why'. Through close collaboration we explore your vision and ambitions, supported by detailed research into the site, context, and market opportunities.
Once we establish a clear brief, the design phase begins. We believe in close collaboration with clients, communities, and stakeholders, crafting designs that express your vision rather than imposing ours. The final concept reflects a balance of our expertise and recommendations based upon a client’s goals and local needs.

At the start of each project we identify peak workload periods, and expand capacity through trusted partners who work to our standards, systems, and QA protocols. This allows us to increase drawing production, BIM modelling, visualisation, and technical detailing capacity rapidly—without compromising design integrity or continuity.
All of GILLARD Atelier’s external team members integrate directly into our workflow using shared platforms, coordinated review cycles, and common documentation standards, ensuring output remains seamless and fully aligned with our design intent, while also maximising productivity across complementary time zones.
Senior design leadership and decision-making always remain with our principal team, giving clients a single point of accountability and consistent communication. We are agile, focused, creative, engaged and bring a wealth of experience and skills to each project as a result of our unique set up.
